Finding & Choosing the right Reiki Master

FINDING AND CHOOSING THE RIGHT REIKI MASTER

Most Reiki masters advertise in daily newspapers or magazines and also post notices at social organization office notice boards. Or you may check it out from some other Reiki channel. Once you have made contact with a Reiki teacher you are interested in receiving training or a treatment from, it is normal that you ask him some important questions. Some indicative questions may cover the following:
a)    How long have you been working with Reiki?
b)    What training have you had?
c)    How many training sessions do you conduct every month?
d)    How do you personally use Reiki?
e)    What is your lineage? Who is your Guru?
f)    What qualifications are required to take Reiki Training?
g)    What do you teach in your classes?
h)    How many hours of class time is included?
i)    How much time is instructional, and how much is hands on practice?
j)    In case  I would like to repeat the session will I be permitted?
k)    What are the specific things I will be able to do after taking the training?
l)    What are your fees, and will I get a certificate and a manual?
m)    Can I take notes and tape record the class?
n)    How many symbols will I learn? (In case of training for 2nd level)
o)    Is there a Reiki support group in my area or can you help me establish one?
p)    Will you openly support me in being a successful Reiki practitioner or Master?
q)    Do you have a positive respectful attitude toward other Reiki practitioners and Masters regardless of lineage or affiliation?

Be aware of how you feel about their answers and if they are responding in a loving manner that is supportive and empowering. Listen to your heart and you will be guided to the right teacher or practitioner.
